At Hearth, we created profiles in a way that allows you to have flexibility in how you manage your household. Profiles allow you to see and manage events, to-dos & routines for each family member you include in Hearth.
You can create profiles that connect to external integrations, for example, adults or kids with existing calendars. You can also create profiles that only live on Hearth for a simpler set up, these can be used for kids without phones or pets. This will allow you to choose the best way to set up your family and visualize everyone’s information in one place. Currently, you can have as many profiles as you need including kids, babysitters, extended family members, or even a pet profile. You can also choose to upload profile pictures or use Hearth’s built in avatars!
Here are our 3 types of profiles to get started:
- Adults: this profile can create and log in to the companion app to manage their Hearth account and connect external calendars. This profile can also reassign calendars to other profiles.
- Kids with email accounts: This profile can create and log in to the companion app to manage their Hearth account and connect external calendars. This profile can also reassign calendars to other profiles.
- Kids without email accounts: This type of profile is for kids that are starting their digital calendar for the first time and will only be able to use the Hearth ecosystem. You can easily reassign any calendars to this type of profile.
Note: Kids without email accounts cannot access the Companion App. They will only be able to interact on the Hearth Display.
